Measurement
This site records first-party audience telemetry to understand geographical reach, technical performance and whether long-form work earns sustained attention. Recorded fields can include the requested page, visit identifier, referrer, campaign tags, browser language, user agent, full IP address, approximate country, region and city, active reading time, interaction count and maximum scroll depth.
Active time
Reading time accrues only while a page is visible and the browser window is focused. Hidden or background tabs do not add active time. The measurement does not capture keystrokes, form contents or the text a reader selects.
Access and retention
Raw visitor records are available only through an authenticated owner view and are never shown on the public site. Full IP records are retained for up to 180 days. Aggregate analytics may be retained for longer to understand the reach and usefulness of the published work.
Interpretation
An IP address is a network endpoint, not a reliable identity. VPNs, corporate networks, mobile carriers and shared connections can change or merge locations. Geographical labels are approximate and are not used to infer a visitor's profession or personal identity.
